sudders whips up a new solo release, ‘ice cream bandages’, produced and performed by the man himself.
Known for is own brand of pensive and personal UK hip hop, the multitalented MC splits this track in two, with the first leg being a summer seaside journey, while the latter stage discusses the troubles faced when the fun melts away.
Following the melancholic ‘lonesome’ featuring CW Jones and Mac Lloyd, this tune was made for the sunlight but takes into account the shade. sudders’ music often moves through moods and on ‘ice cream bandages’ there’s plenty of space to relax and drift away into his polished instrumental production. He even incorporates vocal effects for that added energy and texture.
We’re eagerly anticipating a follow-up to his last EP A Little Bit Of Me, which boasted standout tracks like ‘Breathe’ and ‘Family’. Though, as he’s a keen podcaster, video editor/director and musical all-rounder, only time will tell.
Be sure to stream ‘ice cream bandages’ for that honest summer spirit.
