Thomas Rhett and Jon Pardi’s friendship is displayed throughout a comical new video for “Beer Can’t Fix,” released Wednesday (March 25). The clip, shot in Key West, Fla., and directed by Shaun Silva, captures each artist’s personality as they sing about the escape a beer with a friend can bring.
Rhett wrote the feel-good tune with Julian Bunetta, Zach Skelton and Ryan Tedder, and the clip brings to life the laidback lyrics with a picturesque beach setting. Throughout the three-minute video, Rhett and Pardi are seen fishing together, taking a ride on scooters throughout the town and showing off their fancy footwork as they dance on the beach.
Pardi proves to be a comedian in the video, as he loses his signature cowboy hat while on a scooter, teaches Rhett some two-stepping and manages to fall off his scooter while riding it on the beach.
“We wrote this song to be fun and uplifting and wanted to take that same energy into the video,” Rhett said in a statement. “Jon and I had a blast filming this a few weeks ago in Key West, and I hope it brings a smile to people’s faces.”
