The hip-hop world is buzzing with excitement after Quavo and Offset shared photos of themselves in the studio, sparking fresh rumors of a new Migos album. On Tuesday (May 5), the group’s official Instagram account was reactivated after two years of dormancy, with the first post featuring a carousel of images showing the two rappers working together.
In the photos, Quavo is seen giving the middle finger to the camera while Offset appears focused in the booth. Another image captures Quavo displaying his signature jewelry while Offset is partially obscured. The caption, consisting of five construction sign emojis, strongly suggests that the duo is currently “at work” on a major project, potentially a new studio album.
The studio session also included producer Jaasu Mallory, who shared a photo of himself with Quavo at the console. Additionally, a clip surfaced showing Offset in the booth directing a group of women to recite his lyrics, further indicating that active recording is underway.
These developments follow comments made by Quavo on his Instagram Story last week, where he teased both a posthumous Takeoff album and a new Migos project. “Warriors Never fold. Jobs Not Finished. TAKEOFF ALBUM. UNC N PHEW 2. LAST ????? ALBUM. REAL MIGO BLOOD RUN IN MY VEINS!!! AINT NO NEW CHAPTER JUST THE NEXT ONE,” he wrote. Offset later co-signed the sentiment, simply adding, “On dat.”
The reunion comes as fans continue to mourn the loss of Takeoff, who was tragically shot and killed on Nov. 1, 2022, following a dispute at a private afterparty in Houston. The trial for the man accused of the shooting, Patrick Clark, is currently scheduled to begin on Nov. 5, 2026.
