Rapper Wiz Khalifa has been in the process of a strong rebrand; from his chilled-out stoner persona to now an active running influencer and rapper, the buzz is real. Now, Wiz has turned heads once again with the announcement of his signing to 10K Projects, which is part of the Warner Music Group family that Wiz is no stranger to.
According to an exclusive report by Variety, the rapper has reunited with Marsha St. Hubert, who is now the co-president at 10K Projects and happens to be a close friend of Wiz. Speaking on the matter, Hubert says, “I’m excited to welcome Wiz back home to WMG as we reunite to embark on a new era together at 10K Projects. From day one, Wiz has not only been one of the most innovative and talented artists I’ve ever worked with but one of the most stand-up guys you can meet. Alongside Will, Constance and the Taylor Gang/SMAC teams, we’re looking forward to picking up where we left off and continuing to make history together.”
The announcement also comes with another exciting update: a new single titled ‘The Calm’ that is set to hit streaming platforms soon. With this new partnership, fans can likely expect a full-length album on the horizon as well.
