Following a series of notable collaborations earlier this year, including a performance of “Linger” with members of The Cranberries, Sombr has continued to make waves during his appearances at Coachella 2026. During the festival’s second weekend, the artist treated fans to a pair of standout covers, most notably Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees.”
The inclusion of the Radiohead track was a fitting choice for the set, as Sombr has previously identified the band as one of his primary musical influences. He had also performed the song during a set last summer, signaling a deep appreciation for the material. Beyond the Radiohead tribute, Sombr’s second-weekend performance featured a high-energy collaboration with Billy Idol, as the two performed Idol’s 1984 hit “Eyes Without A Face.” They were joined on stage by the song’s co-writer and longtime collaborator, Steve Stevens.
These performances follow a busy start to the year for Sombr, who previously shared the stage with Billy Corgan during the first weekend of Coachella to perform the Smashing Pumpkins classic “1979.” With the festival season in full swing, Sombr is now preparing to embark on his extensive 2026 You Are The Reason Tour, which kicks off this July.
