With anticipation reaching a fever pitch, Drake is set to drop his highly anticipated new album, Iceman, tomorrow night following the final episode of his live stream series. This project marks his first solo studio effort since the 2023 release of For All The Dogs.
In a surprise development, three new tracks have surfaced online just over 24 hours before the official album launch. The leaks include a refined studio version of ‘Supermax,’ a song previously teased during his streams last year, as well as a track titled ‘3PM In New Orleans’ and a full version of ‘1PM In Albany.’ The latter has already generated significant buzz for its pointed lyrical content, as Drake appears to directly address his ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar, while also taking shots at industry titan Dr. Dre and NBA superstar LeBron James.
In ‘1PM In Albany,’ Drake delivers lines that have already sparked intense debate among fans:
“Please stop asking ’bout what’s going on with 23 and me
I’m a real n*gga and he’s not, it’s in my DNA”“If Drake took out the AK maybe he’d be in jail
Just based off the name that it spells”
It remains unclear whether these tracks are intended for the final tracklist of Iceman. However, rumors suggesting the project may be a double-disc release have led many to speculate that these songs, along with additional material, could arrive at midnight EST tomorrow.
